Yhdysvallat harkitsee lopettavansa tukensa Syyrian ”maltilliseen oppositioon” kuuluvalle Nour al-din al-Zenki -ryhmälle sen jälkeen kun ryhmään kuuluvat henkilöt teloittivat 11-vuotiaan lapsen Aleppon lähellä leikkaamalla hänen kurkkunsa poikki, kertoo brittilehti The Guardian. Teloitus kuvattiin ja julkaistiin.
Nour al-din al-Zenki kuuluu länsiliittouman Syyriassa sotiviin sijaistaistelija-palkkaterroristiryhmiin, ja se sai Yhdysvalloilta ja sen liittolaisilta vielä viime vuoteen asti apua mm. raskaan aseistuksen muodossa. Aseita on kuljetettu NATO-Turkin kautta. Logistiikkaa on Turkin ohella hoitanut CIA.
Yhdysvaltain liittolainen Saudi-Arabia on tukenut Nour al-din al-Zenkin ohella muitakin ryhmiä Tow-ohjuksilla, jotka se osti Yhdysvalloista 1990-luvulla. Ohjuksia on käytetty Syyrian laillista, Bashar a-Assadin hallitusta vastaan, jonka Yhdysvallat haluaa kaataa.
Yhdysvaltain ulkoministeriön lausunnossa sanotaan Yhdysvaltain tuomitsevan tällaisen barbaarisen toiminnan so. lasten teloittamisen mutta että Yhdysvallat ei halua kommentoida mitä terroristiryhmiä se tukee.

Thierry Meyssan arvelee että yksi syy Brexitiin oli juuri tässä. Britit halusivat irtaantua tästä uhosta jonka he varmaan näkivät vievän lopulta tuhoon. He siis jättivät uppoavan laivan ?

Ei liene epäilystä etteikö Brexitin takana olleet kansan laajat ja ahtaalle ajetut kerrokset mutta toisaalta myös rahanahne eliitti suhtautui asiaan ihmeen suopeasti. Se voisi selittyä juuri tuolla halulla irtaantua USAn kalliiksi käyvästä ja mahtailevasta umpikuja-politiikasta.
Toisaalta voi ajatella että City haistoi homman. Se alkaa nyt kerää rahaa Aasiasta ja alkaa kehitellä yhteistyötä sen kanssa…?

Washington has had considerable success in eliminating secular opposition to its hegemony in the Middle East and North Africa, the Mashriq and the Maghreb. Egypt has been co-opted; the Anglo-American 2003 invasion of Iraq eliminated that country’s Arab nationalists, who are now proscribed from holding positions in government; and Arab nationalists in Libya were swept away by a combined NATO-Islamist assault in 2011. Syria remains as the last redoubt of secular Arab nationalism…. And Washington seems intent on relying on its hoary tactic of forming tactical alliances with jihadists to crush the opposition of secular nationalists to the region’s domination by the United States and its Western allies.
The US priority in Syria is Arab nationalist-elimination, and not the elimination of Islamist terrorists, who remain useful to Washington in clearing away the last of the Arab nationalist state obstacles to total US hegemony over the Arab world.

Kaikken huippuna Netanyahu on pitänyt ministerikokouksen Golanilla ja ilmoittanut ettei tule koskaan vetäytymään Syyrialle kuuluvalta Golanilta.
Näin Israel tarkoituksellisesti omalla miehityspolitiikalla estää rauhan asiaa Lähi-idässä ei vain Gazan sodan kautta vaan myös Golanilla.
The Security Council Gets Ready to order Israel to Break Ties with al-Qaeda

Therefore, after two years of violating international law, the Security Council should redeploy the UNDOF and order Israel to stop supporting a terrorist organization.
To date, the State of Israel hardly ever respected a single Security Council Resolution that applied to it.
On 28 August 2014, the Al Nusra Front (al-Qaeda) gained entry to the buffer zone and takes 45 Fijian Blue Helmets hostage. Violating UN orders, Philippine Blue Helmets tried to save them. Finally, some Irish Blue Helmets accompanied by Israeli solders managed to establish contact with the jihadists. The result of lengthy negotiations: the UN refused to withdraw al-Nusra from the list of terrorist organizations but agreed to pay a ransom by bank transfer(!). It was not the UN that announced that the hostages had been released, but the Syrian Observatory on Human Rights, an NGO based in London serving as a cover for the MI6. The United Nations never had reasoned their order to release the Fijians, nor have they launched an investigation into al-Qaeda’s bank account.
Since then, there are no more Blue Helmets to ensure that Resolution 338 is enforced; this role has been delegated to al-Qaeda. When jihadists are attacked and wounded by the Syrian Arab Army, they withdraw onto Israeli territory and are cared for at the Ziv Medical Centre. Then they are led out by the Israeli army to the border to resume fighting.
On 17 April 2016, Israel committed an act of provocation by organizing a Council of Ministers in Golan. There Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that his country would never enforce resolution 338 and would never return Golan.

Western leaders, media pundits and even some academics have continued to argue that the Syrian Government is responsible for the “vast majority”, if not all, deaths in the conflict.
This simply cannot be proven. Even the SOHR reports that “In the past year, according to the observatory, more Syrian regime forces (17,600) died than civilians (13,000).”
The story of the Syrian death toll and how it is used is another example of Ed Herman’s ‘worthy and unworthy’ victims. The worthy are those killed by people the West doesn’t like. The rest don’t fit the accepted narrative and are thus ignored. But people on the ground will remember the details of their brutalisation by all sides long after we in the West have forgotten them.
